Cherry Blossom in Haradani-en Garden, Kyoto

Haradani-en garden is located on top of a steep hill above Kinkaku-ji Temple in the north west of Kyoto.
We visited on April 7th 2022, it was truly beautiful. Flowers everywhere and birds singing... a unique and really nice garden worth the visit.
Haradani-en is a privately owned garden covering 13,000 square meters with a variety of cherry trees to see, especially the late-flowering weeping cherry blossom.
Other plants and flowers in Haradani-en include azaleas, apple, rhododendron and dogwood.
Few tourists have ever heard of Haradani-en, it is a secret cherry blossom spot known only to the locals. While it is a lovely garden and pleasant to visit at any time of year, it is truly superb in cherry blossom season.
