Autumn in the Botanical Garden of Kisaichi
Autumn 2020. We have been to this botanical garden several times, because it is not far away from where we live and it is very pleasant to walk in the diversity of the 26 hectares of the park.
It is full of different flowers and colors all year round.
We discovered it in the fall and we went there 2 times while there were fantastic colors, orange and red colors lighting up the park under the sun.
Walking in this garden is a real pleasure, the scents, the sight of trees and flowers, the spaces, the paths in the different sections, the forests and their explanatory panels.
We will return there for every season to feast on the blooming flowers and the foliage of the trees.
The Botanical Gardens is 26 hectares big and is operated by Osaka City University. They are near Kisaichi station, Katano, Osaka, Japan and is open to the public.
The gardens were established in 1950 and contain about 4500 species from around the world, including more than 1,000 species native to Japan. They also contain representatives of 11 Japanese forest types.
